“After a home stucco inspection, it was recommended that I get some preventative work done to the front of my house. I received several quotes. Only after talking with Steven did I feel confident that someone knew what they were talking about and that the job would get done right. I want to reinforce that, as many people were good at “selling”, but were leaving out key areas of the home that needed kick-out flashing, gutters, etc. With stucco, this is not something you want to mess around with. Steven and Jana were great to work with during the estimate and quote process, and were helpful with me as a first time homebuyer. Many times it is hard to get someone to respond to questions, but Jana was always on it!

On the first day Steve showed up with his crew, he gave his cell number. This made it very easy to contact him with any questions that I had throughout the process. He didn’t tell me to “call the office” with questions. The crew was extremely impressive. They were at my house early each morning, and worked through some very hot days. You could tell that they were knowledgable in the work being done. I was impressed with the quality and attention to detail of their work. They even found some other minor issues while up on the roof, and took care of those for me (so many would have just ignored them because they weren’t in the quote). At the end of every day, they cleaned everything up and the house did not even look like an active work site. I can not say enough good about the crew- extremely professional.

Though the house was retrofitted with kick-out flashing and some new gutters, you would think it was original. It blends in perfectly with the rest of the house, and I could not be happier with the craftsmanship and quality of work by Steve and his crew.

I have already spoken with Steve another project next year, as I will definitely be using Merman Construction. It is hard to find a trustworthy, reliable, and quality contractor. However, this is one. I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed and you will be calling them back like myself!”
